“Stuffed”, the 26th Get a Mac commercial, tackles head-on the well-known practice of fattening up PCs with useless trial software. To illustrate the point visually, PC is introduced in a hilarious fat suit. In fact, he’s so inflated, he looks downright cartoonish.

The commercial begins with just Mac on the screen, an empty spot where PC usually stands. “Hellom I’m a Mac.” he says in his usual upbeat tone. Then, off-screen, we hear PC holler, “Hold up.”

“Whoa, PC,” Mac responds at the sight of his pal, who then lumbers in slowly and laboriously.

PC replies to the obvious unspoken question, “Yeah, it’s all this trial software. They pack my hard drive full of it. All these programs that don’t do very much unless you buy the whole thing or are just plain useless.” He groans, “It really slows me down.” Then, he heaves a heavy sigh and says to Mac, “You know how it is.”

“Actually, I don’t,” Mac says, “Actually, Macs just come with the stuff you want like iTunes, iPhoto, iWeb. It’s all part of iLife.”

PC, defeated in this latest Mac versus PC dialogue, sighs, “Let’s just do this, okay?”

The two face camera and just as Mac is about to introduce himself again, PC waves him off, turns back off-screen and begins to lumber away, “I forgot something.”
